Curacao Information needed? Send it to the Meet Curacao Mailbag

Curacao information mailbag
I have a dry erase whiteboard at home where I keep track of my writing duties. It may make me seem like a big loser, but I currently write for 11 websites, I contribute to one paper and I’m trying to launch five other websites. That means that I need to schedule my time very precisely, or else I’ll go clinically insane. By the way, people either find my writing schedule really cool or really creepy. There is no middle ground.

That said, my wife keeps a close eye on this little whiteboard so that she knows when to plan certain activities.

Wife: Hey, it looks like you have nothing to write about tonight. Maybe we can go jogging….
Dave: Have you been spying on me??? STOP CONTROLING MY LIFE!

Today she noticed that I wrote ‘Meet Curacao’ on the whiteboard. That obviously means that I have to write my column for meetcuracao.com, or face the brutal consequences of Sebastiaan’s wrath. The funny thing is that she’ll always ask what I’m planning to write about when she sees Meet Curacao or ‘XpEdition Paradise Magazine’ on the board. Today was no different…

Wife: What are you going to write about for Meet Curacao?
Dave: I’m not sure yet.
Wife: Well, you better figure it out because it needs to be done today.
Dave: Don’t pressure me! My brilliance needs time to shine!!

* 35 minutes later *

Wife: Are you even trying to write something? It looks like you are just making weird movements with your hands…
Dave: I’m practicing my Telekinesis.
Wife: You’re trying to move objects with your mind? You can’t even do the dishes without making a mess…
Dave: YOU’RE JUST JEALOUS BECAUSE I HAVE AN ENORMOUS BRAIN!

And then it suddenly just hit me. Next to writing a column for Meet Curacao, it would be pretty cool to do a “mailbag” feature. Mailbag features are pretty common online and it basically means that readers would send me e-mails with questions and that I pick out a few and answer them for everyone to read.

Information CuracaoFor example…

Reader e-mail: “Hey Dave, you are extremely awesome. How do you manage to maintain such a level of awesomeness?
Dave’s answer: “By eating raw meat and participating in illegal, underground martial arts competitions.”

I’m not sure if a mailbag feature would take off here in Curacao but I definitely want to give it a shot. Send me an e-mail at david@curacaoconnected.com with a general Curacao related question, comment or whatever else you may have on your mind and if it’s interesting enough, it will get answered here in a special mailbag column. Oh, and don’t worry, only your first name or nickname will be added with the question. E-mail addresses and last names are off limits.

So, if you have something on your mind (Curacao related, serious, goofy, funny, important issue etc etc), submit it for the mailbag feature and if I get enough in my inbox, I’ll run the mailbag post within a week or two.

Now, START SENDING THOSE E-MAILS! MY TELEKINESIS ORDERS YOU!
